Han Chiang Open Day Autoshow Part 1: G.T.R

Guys, so so so sorry for late late coverage and pics of that day, i know mayb you all have seen the pics and experience it all AGES ago, but i can only go online during my days in Png, and i was in SP back then.....so wait no more, coverages are here!

Waked up on 7am sharp, call up my buddies here in SP (we've planned to go together that day as they wanna go also) , and pick up them all around in 8.15am in my buddy's own Viva(boy its one fuel-saver i tell u....but Drive-by-Wire sucks by sensitivity of pedal, but if u opt for fuel-saving, thats the car) went on to have breakfast here and proceed on to the highway ASAP....

As we were cruising down all the way from SP-S.Dua-Kulim-Bridge, saw a bunch of cars that would turn up at the event later on, haha guess they were rushing over there too, and some even turn on their hazards light to lead a pack, not a nice thing to do OR a very creative thing to do? U be the judge....

Okay, Han Chiang college, spot on! But unfortunately......the 'car' was there already, and by car i mean this car......

Yup folks, Nissan GTR R35, newest off the line, and one of......i dunno, say 4 or 5 in the whole M'sia?? Correct me if they were more k....was present at the Han Chiang Open Day Autoshow, in conjunction and thanks to Clarion, who excels in car audio equipment or ICE (Internal Car Entertainment)

The back.....the word GTR ain't separatin from the iconic dual-round taillamps...

The interior of the car, the representitive from Clarion warmed our heart as he lets us have a look inside in a very friendly way, show us how the door was open (the door handle still freaks me out as it feels as its goin to snap...)but anyway, the inside, totally sweet, leathers all the way, nice seats, funky electronics.......stuff that needs to be there for a supercar......don't you think?

Notice the 3 small small levers just upside of the gear knob? Push those into R.....nothing else ^^ This controls the dampening force of the suspension; The way the gearbox goes; And the Nissan Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC-R) Traction Control(If not mistaken.....) R sets these 3 into "R" Mode, which literally turns the GTR into track happy Zilla....

As every supercar strives on, aerodynamics, and Nissan ain't goin to go easy on that too....flat on the head...

Flat on the tail too....

And now.........the engine bay, as the representitive kindly pops the hood for us, me and DoriX quickly stand there to 'book' a first class view of the engine itself, gals and guys, this is, VR38DETT, sports 6-throttle induction with twin electronic throttle bodies regulates the air pressure within the 3 cylinders of that 6 cylinders, not getting my point? The engine is a twin-turbocharged 3.8 V6, in which it has 6 cylinders(or pistons.....), roughly 3800cc and has two turbochargers, this engine is designed, to maximise the potential of a V6, and that is to making it work in pairs, 3 cylinders w/ one turbocharger as one unit and the other as another, so in order to have these two unit breathing the same amount of air at the same time, two electronic throttle bodies are being used, plus it has two intercoolers as well, one for, one unit of course...and it comes with an oil-cooler.....how good does it gets.....this engine is the first of many engine to be made with the "One man One engine" philosophy that were used by BWM and Merc, and now Nissan too....

It says it all....

This is realli something tat amazes me, i know its very blur (i take the pics with a puny Sony Ericsson Z610....) On top it has the idle point for the VR38DETT, which was 850rpm, and beneath it, writes the firing timing for the engine, which is 17'/850 BTDC/rpm (i think so, cuz the words are in Jap and i kinda figure it out from the chinese word....again, correct me!) Most of you wouldn't think that this figures matters, but in the case of a highly (i believed..) balanced and sophisticated engine like this one, Nissan can't afford to have their customers to tampered with the OEM engine setting, one slight correction, and the engine will definitely not perform to its best, which is the least u'll worry bout, one major correction, and its a 50% u scored a goal or 50% u lose a goal......yeah but anyway, i'm saphar2, so dun mind my words...scroll down pls...

This is what it becomes from the twin air ducts on the bonnet, it directly points towards the turbochargers (which, they were 'forged' together with the exhaust manifold, in order to reduce lag and unneccessary break downs, so you plan to change the cars turbocharger? Mind change the exhaust manifold too ya...in which they are few in the aftermarket world...) this is what i called ......Stylish and Practical....
