The Great Race and Orientation Finishes....

DAY 3, Wednesday, were we are going to have The Great Race, is a race turn out to be a Amazing Race kind da thing, where u get instructions to go to here there, and do tasks, do this do that, take that complete this, and move on and who did all the tasks correctly and fastests wins......So...its situated in the WHOLE of Melbourne......so at the start of the Second Orientation which was held on wednesday, so first team....HAN, i was in the first team, along with Armando the Italian guy, Ahmad, a loudspeaker from Lebanon, great guy, Aman, from India, and Shin, from South Korea, haha talk bout multi nation....So the race starts and we were on the go immediately, as we are rushing on, so i didn't have the time to take pictures, untill we reach the DFO for lunch at Kebab World, courtesy of Kangan, we had free kebab and a drink, i had the Lamb Kebab which was......damn!!!!! haha unbelievable.....and it was here when i managed to get some time to snap some pics up...
The Etihad Stadium, this is the first time i saw a full scale oversea stadium, and its nothing like what i've seen, its fucking awesome! Now i kinda get a good impression of how Old Trafford was....it reali is, in nothing i've ever seen before, its so large, mayb the pics wont giv u a good impression of how it was, so you'll just need to check it out....
















The question sheet with all the destination and task we need to do and fill in, and the blue card, thats a Metcard, thats a card that lets you take the bus, tram(smaller train who moves around the city roads), trains. So instead of cashing in on every journey, we cash in by buying this card instead, and then validate it before we take the transportation. It comes in hourly, daily, weekly, monthly, or even for the whole year...

And one of the task requires us to go to the Richmond Campus of Kangan after the lunch and i managed to stumble back that SA6 and a EK hatch, sadly we were goin fast so i could only had a glimpse of the rear, nvm i'll be sure to take a pic of the front next time.

































OK, then we need to get to the Coburg campus, and inside the Coburg campus, lies some giant mechanism around....example this gearbox i think??? From the looks of it its for a lorry i think...
















AND a DIFFERENTIAL, now does anyone know what that is???? hehe wiki it!
















And then on our way to another road saw this too, JZS161 Toyota Aristo, stock...
















Stock rims...so unlike malaysian...they can even stand to have their Kancil stock..
















Our last stop was back at Broadmeadows campus, where i found this, a Nissan Skyline R34 GTT and the owner is a student here too, apparently his a Korea, and his name was Phillip.
















When i reach back to school, i saw Victor just lying there, so i thought wow, he's team came in first? And he's sleeping too, boys he must have arrive very early.....but no, turns out that he's sick, omg, he's so sick that he quite in halfway and return to school, well laterward we come home and quickly get him some rest.....

DAY 4, Thursday
I got up early, ready my self all alone, and i was heading to school alone, as Victor's sick, and orientation's compulsory, i braved my self up and went on to venture on the streets of Melbourne alone ! Haha thn at school, they annouce the winner of the Great Race, now even though we come in 10th place, only 3 teams got all the answer rite and the task done, and we're one of it!!!! HAHa, so at the end it was a bonus question which decides on the winner, thanks to Armando for spotting it out, the Bush Ballades and the Galloping Rhymes, we're the only team who get it rite and so, for the first time......

I WON SOMETHING ^^ WOOHOO damn!!!!! hahaa!!!!!! so damn happy.....

So i got myself, 2 more movie tickets, a 75 Dolar shopping voucher! AND A FREE TICKET TO CATCH AUSTRALIAN FOOTBALL AT SATURDAY.............quite some prizes huh?? haha

And thn finishes the orientation, i had so much fun, meeting all kind of ppl, i never tot id get a Italian friend haha Armando is just so good, kudos to him and the whole gang of Kangaroos (our team name==)Not to mention Ahmad from Lebanese, Aman from India, and Shin from Korea ^^ cheers guys and good luck! And before i left, spotted this R33 GTT waiting for someone...
















Back home, found out that Victor had been suspected of Swine Flu !! (!!) huh! H1N1 omg!! So we end up wearing masks in the house == but fortunately, its DAY 5 now Friday now, and he's getting significantly better and getting his appetite back, so im pretty much sure he's alrite.....
