Training with Evergreen United 8 ended up with CNY dinner....

Yesterday we've pre-scheduled that we're gonna have CNY dinner ysterday so we just had a light sparring match between us, with the young and the olds. Nothing important really as whats going on was just the midfielders still trying to get their touch, not a shot really came seriously threatening the goal so i didn't had alot of match attention. But then again, had a good time, and good weather too, first it was scorching 37'C hot and then heavy wind start to rise and temp drop to a cooler 20 or 22 degrees i suppose, all in one minute.
Nonetheless, we went to a Chinese cuisine restaurant in Toorak, called 巴国布衣, famous for their Szechuan (四川) dishes.

Clockwise, Adam and 老崔, our coach + player, 李熹, the team captain, and a nice guy as well, probably the nicest guy that could, in the mean time, played good football as well, thanks to him alot for fetching me and 雪飞 to the training ground or to a match day, and to the right is 杨飞

And the new players Elvis, 小贺, Theo, 梁

雪飞, from 409, giving a grim face as the he's starving haha, its all becuz of him that i ended up with this fantastic team....thanks him ^^

As well as Ryan, Frank and Elvis.

And here Frank doing something fishy...hahahaha well he works here actually, today was he's day off.

We had a good time. As expected, Szechuan (or Sichuan) dishes are famous for being spicy (辣) as well as hot (麻), fresh (鲜), fragrant (香), but they are mostly related to quite spicy foods, if u like spicy food u'll like Szechuan cuisine. Not being a big fan of spicy food, i had a hard time eating them hahaha, was sweating halfway through, but everyone's the same anyway. Buttt, the food is really nice~ I mean literally, really really nice. The most prominent dishes i can remember is
回锅肉, which is stir fried beef

宫保鸡丁, no need explanation huh~

水煮鱼, is fish being boiled in a spicy mix of herbs and spices, dun really expect me to LOVE two things that i DUN LIKE the most huh, spicy and fish ~

蟹黄豆腐, which is tofu but isn't spicy, but lovely to have ^^^^

We had a good day really, alot of us speak out what we thought and wished from the team, as well as personal vision and opinion regarding the team. Its good that we're able to increase our morale up in such harmony way, certainly everyone has their own perspective but still its a team, not a one man show, so compromises has to be made, and to be made in such a environment is really nothing but right. We spoke bout what kinda jersey we wanna have, Ryan and I start to propose we use Melbourn Victory's jersey to bring up Victory to sponsor us as their 'Asian Division', or use the Australia-ruled Football or Footy jersey, which is similiar to football jersey except they dun have sleeves, haha. But it was a fun night, we stayed on chatting and got home afterwards, all with a renewed commitment to the team. And one the same time, spotted a clean clean Hummer H3.....

I would recommend people to try it out....巴国布衣 Tooraking as the food is really good. I've looked it up on the net and some review says that the food comes 75 minutes later~ but as far as i know when we're there it was almost packed, full house, but our food arrive approx 10 mins or less after we ordered.
